Today Lennox's school had a family picnic day. My parents, grandmother, and Mark went early to spend time in Lennox's classroom and play with him. Then when I had lunch I ran over to picnic with them too.

We laid out a blanket and pulled out our lunches. My parents brought him some Mc Donald's, but he was so excited he didn't eat much. He just wanted to play. He was so excited with everyone there to visit him.

And rode every ride he could.

We had some yummy cheese pizza.

And rode some more rides.

This was one of his favorite rides. It was a new one we hadn't been on before. It was a virtual ride. First we did the roller coaster ride and shook all over the place, then we did the tunnel ride. Lennox begged and pleaded for more rides. But we had to cut him off at some point.

So we could do some more fun rides :-)

Tonight we did some "school work." We have been working on coloring/following a line and trying to get Lennox to start writing his letters. He prefers the floor to do his work. He is doing really good.

When we were done working on the coloring, we did some puzzles. Lennox really loves these wooden puzzles. We only have one with his numbers. I am going to go out tomorrow and get some more because he is getting so good at this one. As usual, the dog is always near.
At bedtime I was treated to another bedtime story from Lennox. He read "Are You My Mother" again. So perfectly and he was so excited with himself. I have to try to video it one day if he will let me :-)
