Week in the Life Day 4, Wednesday, October 15

On Wednesday I was not so good about taking pictures. In the morning I packed Lennox's lunch, a lunchable, apples, chocolate milk, and applesauce for his morning snack. We had to stop at Burger King for breakfast, french toast sticks. It has become the easiest and quickest way to get some food in Lennox for breakfast. When I handed them back to him in the car he said "mmmm." I took a lot of pictures at school. When I picked up Lennox I had forgotten his drink cup (milk) and I had to go back to my classroom to grab it out of my fridge. When we got in my classroom he said "this is where your friends sit?" and pointed to the desks. So adorable. After school Lennox and I went straight to the doctor's office for a flu vaccine. He walked in and said he was scared and wanted to go home. He has never done that at the doctor before. It was so crowded and so hot. Luckily I kept Lennox fairly occupied in the waiting room with some books. When they called us back I literally had to drag him in, he grabbed hold of the doorway with all his might. Lots of people in the waiting room grinned and laughed while he screamed "I scared" at the top of his lungs. There was more boo-hoo's when we got back to the room, even though I told Lennox he wasn't getting a shot, it was just some medicine in his nose. I guess that didn't console him. This was the pitiful face I saw:

The flu vaccine was Flu Mist nasal spray, quick and easy, but I still was holding down a screaming baby. We went home and Lennox played on his computer:

And then he played on top of me:

Daddy picked us up from home and we went to Oma and Opa's for dinner. On the way over we played Spiderman in the car. Daddy was the Green Goblin, Lennox was Spiderman, and Mommy was Mary Jane. Lennox told the Green Goblin to go to time out and said "do you understand?" We ended the evening at Oma and Opa's for dinner and came home to settle in for a long night of debate fun :-)
