Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

For weeks we have been looking forward going to Disney for the Not So Scary Halloween Party! We have been talking about it. Every night Lennox would say "I go to Disney couple weeks" right before he laid down for bed. So when Friday rolled around and we were on our way, we were all so excited.
This time we stayed at a Disney Resort. When we got into the room, Lennox could not stop talking about the Mickey Mouse faces on the carpet, wall paper, and bedspreads. The next morning we headed to Epcot for a little day time fun. We got there so early that we were able to go to a character greet. Lennox has never technically met Mickey before so this was big. He was nervous and would not get too close though. He met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald Duck. After a few rides we went to France for lunch. Lennox was perfect and sat coloring while we waited for our food. After that we went back to the hotel for a long nap. When we woke up it was time to get our costumes on head to the Magic Kingdom. Lennox dressed up in his Spiderman costume.
When the ferry boat pulled up and we saw the park all decorated for Halloween. It was amazing. Everything was orange and there were pumpkins everywhere. I don't know who was more excited: mommy, daddy, or Lennox. Lennox had been begging to go on the Buzz ride so we did that first and then got started on some trick-or-treating. We all got a bag to collect some goodies in. Then we went to Toon Town where we decided to get Lennox's face painted. They had Disney make-up artists doing face painting for free. While we were in line, Lennox asked if I was going to "be a princess." I couldn't resist getting my face done too. It was so sweet. So we climbed up in the make-up chair together. Lennox got an awesome Spiderman face and mommy got some fantasy eyes :-) While we were in line for the face painting Lennox noticed the children's roller coaster. Of course we had to go on it. Lennox and daddy sat in the front and when the first fall came on the coaster Lennox started screaming. Not a scared or worried scream, a real little boy excited scream. It was so awesome. After that there was more trick or treating.
Then came our show/parade/fireworks fun. Right in front of the castle they did a Villian Dance Party. We watched all the Disney villians sing and dance, Cruella, Jafar, and the Wicked Witch. Following that we watched a spooky fireworks show and then came the parade. The parade was amazing. We had a got spot in the front. At one point the villians in the parade spooked Lennox during one of their dances. Lennox was startled and eyed him all the way down the street. It was so funny. We did a few more rides and before we knew it, it was midnight and the party was over. Lennox was tuckered out. We didn't get into bed until almost 1 am. It was one of the best nights we have had at Disney and we will absolutely go back next year. It was so much fun.
