This is the second year I have tied my camera to my side for a Week in the Life project. Each day I take pictures of any and everything, right down to the food in our refrigerator. I keep receipts and paper work and keep a journal. At the end of the week I create a scrapbook that documents the mundane and extraordinary of our week. I love doing this because there are too many times when the beauty in the ordinary goes unnoticed and this forces me to pay attention and be aware. Today is day 1 and these are the highlights.

After breakfast at the Derby House we walked down to Riverside Park. Lennox asked mama "you play with me?" So mommy climbed all over the place and got soaking wet sliding down the slides with him :-)
