Family Fun

Lennox got a treat on Sunday when his cousin Holly came to visit. They love each other so much. Lennox had a little trouble learning to share as you can see in the picture. He is not used to playing with Holly at our house with his toys. Usually he is at Den and Pop's and the toys are shared. But, when they got along, they were adorable playing together. Lennox got so excited with her here and was acting crazy, running around the house, he got all sweaty. They danced while watching football of all things. And you can see our dog got in on the action too! It was so sweet to watch the two of them play and have fun. Such a simple little moment, but so important...

On Sunday we took a trip to see Santa. As you can tell from the pictures, Lennox was not too happy about seeing Santa. He talks about him all the time when he sees a picture or a Santa item in the stores. But, when we got into the mall he kept saying "No Santa...No Santa." We were able to get him in line and Santa tried to play peek-a-boo with him to help Lennox relax. In the end, we ended up getting a picture with all three of us in it. And you can tell Lennox was not about to smile. I guess every child needs their grouchy santa picture. And at least he wasn't writhing and screaming like I was in the picture I have of me at that age. We love going to this Santa. This is the same Santa we have been visiting since Mark and I started dating. He is so cheerful and does such a good job with the kids. Lennox did manage to tell him he wanted a choo-choo and a car. So we will we see what Santa brings :-)

We had a hectic Halloween. Lennox went to school with his Buzz Lightyear costume on to school. He went around school with his classmates showing off their costumes to other classrooms. Later in the afternoon they had a Halloween Party with cookies and chips. When daddy got home we got all ready to go Trick-or-Treating, but we realized we had left Lennox's head piece at school :-( Lennox went to a few houses around the neighborhood and then we went to Mark's parents where we got to see Lennox's newest cousin, Emma the ladybug.
