The summer is closing in on us. Mommy has to return to work in two weeks. Lennox and I have had such a full summer and I have to say that I have one of the most amazing little boys ever. He is such a funny, happy, sweet, and affectionate little boy. Probably the coolest person I have ever known. He is talking so well now. We watch Shrek and Toy Story almost daily, take long naps together, have lunch with daddy and our friends, shop, and go to the playground. I have loved being able to be home with him. Today we were in the car, he heard a song, and said "dance, mommy, dance." So there we were, the two of us dancing in the car. He nods his head when he is dancing in the car, so cute. The pic on the side is one I snapped of him watching the rain one day from our kitchen window. He is covered in spaghetti. We were in the middle of lunch. We are heading to Savannah in the morning, and I will be adding more pics soon.

We are home from our first real family vacation. We went to Helen, Georgia and to Western North Carolina, and then accidently to Tennessee :-) Someone should have told us how difficult it is to travel with a two year old. But, overall it was great to spend time together. We did something we always said we wouldn't and let Lennox watch movies on a portable DVD player all the way up there and back. I think he is now addicted, and the rest of us now know all the words to Shrek, Shrek 2, and Toy Story from watching them so many times. Yikes!

While we were up we stayed in a cabin high in the mountains. Lennox loved collecting rocks and running around the cabin. We didn't know that Lennox could count to 10 until we started counting his rocks one day. We were amazed. We visited Cabbage Patch Babyland, pushed Lennox's stroller to the top of Anna Ruby Falls, visited Biltmore, and also spent some time around Helen. Lennox loved dancing to the musicians playing German music downtown. So adorable. We also visited Charlemagne's, where there was a giant train set. We watched the trains forever.
